HD8 Hotel Milano

1st the location, very easy to find from Milano Centrale Train Station. 2nd the room size, design and the view is amazing. Recommend to take the room with the view. Even the breakfast place at level 11 is breathtaking where you can see the Milano Centrale building from the top. 4th is the soundproofing window that cancels out all the noise from the busy road in front of the hotel. 5th is the hotel close to Halal Restaurant (Turkish) where you just need to walk around 150 meters. Also, they can keep your luggage if you arrive early at the hotel which for me is convenient. Chat with the hotel staff is also very responsive.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel- the room was nice, clean and spacious, with a nice view of the beautiful train station, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The air conditioning worked wonderfully in the crazy heat of 37 degrees. With the windows closed, there was no problem of noise from the street. Having read some reviews describing the safety issue at night, I was a bit concerned, coming with my elderly parents. But this wasn’t an issue at all- we returned to the hotel after an opera, at midnight, using the metro (the station is right next door), there were people on the street, very few homeless people, nobody harassed us, and it felt perfectly safe. The location was just perfect- just by the train station, the metro and close to some good restaurants.

The hotel is a very close walk from the Centrale train station and metro, so it really saves time getting there, getting around Milan and planning day trips, especially if you have luggage to lug around. The place is clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast is great and the views from the top floor where they serve breakfast is amazing. Breakfast is not cheap (18 Euros pp for residents if you book the night before) so we only did it once but worth it doing it at least once. Lots of restaurants and coffee etc. options within walking distance and we felt very safe in the area. They will hold your luggage at reception for no cost if you arrive too early for check-in or want to spend the day sight seeing after you check out - that's a big plus too. Aircon worked well and room was comfortable enough. Decent shower.

We were originally staying here for 3 nights, however we added an extra night a week before we flew out, we emailed the hotel to see if we could stay in the same room for the full duration of our trip, staff were very attentive and responded to us straight away. On arrival we were given a free room upgrade with views of the beautiful central station. The hotel was about a 30minute walk into the city centre or 3 stops on the underground. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and spacious, would definitely stay here again.

It is located right across the Milano Centrale train station and it is very convenient.
